Manya Singh is currently making headlines because of her stint on Bigg Boss 16. The former Miss India runner-up passed a comment which has not gone down well with many. OTTplay had caught up with her before she left for the house. Manya was sure about Bigg Boss, stating it isn’t rocket science.

Manya also clearly stated that she wants to make her career in acting. However, she aims to directly get launched in Bollywood.

We asked her if it is a huge risk being on Bigg Boss even before she got her big launch. Manya replied, “It is a huge risk. It is make it-or-break it type of risk but I’m really excited. If you don’t take a risk, you’ll not go ahead in your life.”

Shying away from stating that she wants to grow as an actor initially, Manya stated, “I have always seen myself growing, no matter in which field. I’m pretty sure that I’m ready for anything.”

However, when we asked her where does she see herself after Salman Khan’s show, Manya was prompt to reply, “Getting launched in Bollywood.” And what better opportunity than with Salman himself?

Bigg Boss has always been controversial not only in terms of content but also what it did to participants on the show. While a few did go on to become extremely popular after their stint on Bigg Boss, the others were almost lost. We asked Manya what does she think Bigg Boss would do to her career and she answered, “Bigg Boss has helped in both making and breaking careers in both ways. The first question that you asked me – is it taking a risk – it’s like that only. It’s not about making or breaking the career. It’s about a platform that is given to you. It’s up to you how you make it. It’s not on Bigg Boss but on you to make or break your career. It’s all you.”

Ask Manya about being a fan of Bigg Boss or if she is ready for the show and she replies, “I haven’t followed the show very closely but yeah, I’ve seen it in bits-and-pieces. I’m ready. Bigg Boss is not rocket science. Even then, someone flew a rocket. So, I’m also hopeful about this.”

Manya has recently called out Sreejita De for ‘just being a TV actress’ while she represented her country at a National level (Manya is former Miss India runner-up). The comment has not gone down well with either TV celebs or Salman Khan and he is going to take her class in Shanivaar Ka Vaar episode.
