When Ankita Lokhande was in the Bigg Boss 17 house, the actress fondly spoke about her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. She was in a relationship with the Pavitra Rishta actor for over six years before they called it quits. Unfortunately, SSR passed away in 2020. Ankita, on the other hand, is now married to businessman Vicky Jain. In an exclusive interview with OTTplay, Ankita opened up about mentioning SSR on BB 17 thereby also reacting to allegations of using his name for sympathy.

Speaking exclusively with us, Ankita Lokhande clarified that she didn't use Sushant Singh Rajput's name in the Bigg Boss 17 house for sympathy. "There was nothing like that," she told OTTplay.

The actress further mentioned, "But jisko main jaanti hoon aur mujhe jiske baare mein baat karni hogi, mujhe koi nahi rok sakta. That's me. If I want to talk about anyone in my life, I will talk about him/her. Kyuki log toh hain... judge karne ke liye hi na. Jab main baat nahi karungi, toh bhi log bolenge baat kyu nahi ki... kuch nahi bola. Ye logo ka kaam hai bolna. That's what I feel and I am very much okay with that. "

(Loose translation: Nobody can stop me if I want to talk about someone I know. People are always there to judge. Even if I don't talk about someone, they will say and wonder why I didn't talk. It's people's job to speak.)

Ankita maintained the fact that she will speak about anyone (she knows). "Mujhe jiske baare mein baat karni hogi, main uske baare mein (baat) karungi. Jo mere saath juda hoga aur agar main unki acchi cheeze batana chahti hu (If someone has been associated with me and I wish to share good things about him/her), I will make sure that vo logo tak pohoche," added Lokhande.

When Ankita Lokhande was in the BB 17 house, the actress had a conversation about Sushant with Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Kumar. The actress was reminded of SSR when she looked at her co-contestant Abhishek. She had praised Sushant for his hardwork and determination. The actress called him a 'perfectionist' on the show.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ankita will next be seen in the Bollywood film, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.
