Adrishyam 2 - The Invisible Heroes starring Pooja Gor and Eijaz Khan is an espionage thriller that is all set to be released on SonyLIV. Led by Ravi Verma (Eijaz Khan), the series cast the actress Pooja as Officer Durga. Ahead of the release, both Pooja and Eijaz had an exclusive conversation with OTTplay and discussed their roles and various aspects of the series. During the interview, Pooja shared how her role brought unique qualities to the team of Adrishyam 2.
Pooja Gor talks about her fearless Officier Durga role
During an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Pooja Gor was asked about her Officer Durga role in Adrishyam 2 - The Invisible Heroes. She said, "Durga is fierce, determined. She is someone who navigates the complexities of her role with a lot of emotional strength and grit. She has a very different way of looking at challenges that she faces, rather they face as a team. She believes in doing it all for the best of her country and you can see her passion for her work and the love for her country and the passion is her strength."
Pooja further added, "She is also someone who is a conflicted person that can be seen in her journey and there is a very human side to her. Durga dwells in a sort of grey area when it comes to her approach generally in life but also on the whole for the character, and she has her own shortcomings, and she is not invisible, but a human, and that is what I love the most about her character. There is a mystique about her, and layers coming across unveiling itself every aspect of her personality with each passing episode and that's what I absolutely loved about how they have written Durga."
In addition, Pooja shared her preparation for Adrishyam 2 and added that action sequences were entirely new to her. While the physical training was intense, it was the mental discipline that truly tested the actress. She trained in handling weapons, which was exhilarating, but the importance of breath control was crucial for executing complex scenes.
