The prayers were answered, expectations were many, anticipation was serviced, and fans were left enthralled with shock when they witnessed the first look teaser and titled reveal of Deadpool & Wolverine, aka Deadpool 3. It is no longer the Untitled Deadpool Movie but has a confirmed title. The threequel in the franchise has been one of the most anticipated films across the globe and has been at the top of the anticipated movies list for months now. With the new teaser, many things have been confirmed, some things hinted at, and a whole lot kept under wraps. But none of us expected that the studio would give out such a lengthy and wholesome first-look teaser.

The surprise took the world by storm, and even when everyone kind of knew Super Bowl 2024 was low-key about Deadpool & Wolverine more than the game, the teaser did manage to catch us all off guard. It took us through where Wade Wilson exactly is now to where he is about to go and what is about to get enabled. Yes, we are indeed talking about that Secret Wars Easter Egg in the teaser. But what is more surprising is the studio hiring the actors from the Fox Timeline to play their OG parts. So we thought why not list the confirmed ones down and also look at the ones who might enter?

When Owen Wilson appeared in Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania post-credit, it was enough to tell us that there is more for Morbius than him returning to his actual life at the end of Loki 2. Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine is, of course, traveling in the Multiverse, and the TVA has a role to play in the same. Now it isn’t impossible to think that Wilson will join. However, there have been rumors that he indeed is joining Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the movie.

Talking of actors joining, Patrick Stewart has already confirmed he was on standby for Deadpool 3, and that makes his choice entry as Professor X in the movie most likely. As to this, he even confirmed there is a Professor X and Magneto reunion of sorts. In that case, Ian McKellen might join him too. Both the actors first played their respective X-Men characters in the 2000 release X-Men and went on to reprise them in various films. Now, their making their way in the threequel will enable a future for the X-Men to enter the MCU.

Talking of enabling the future for X-Men, the destroyed 20th Century Fox logo was enough to tell you how everything from there is here, and that means there are more X-Men characters flying in. Rumors suggest that Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Halle Berry as Storm are all set to reprise their parts for Deadpool & Wolverine. It has been almost a decade since these actors have played their respective parts, which makes for the correct timing to bring them back.

Deadpool & Wolverine is the only release from the Marvel mill this year in theaters, which makes it a massive project. The film is set to trigger a whole lot of things in the multiverse, including the biggest movie Avengers: Secret Wars, which is the Endgame for the Multiverse Saga.
