Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer Sher Bagga has hit the theatres

The much-awaited Punjabi film, Sher Bagga has finally hit theatres today. Starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, it promises to be a full-on entertainer for movie lovers. The movie chronicles the journey of a young man called Sher, played by Ammy Virk and his quest for love which leads to an issue with his love interest, played by Sonam Bajwa. 

What gives the movie its unique appeal is the spectacular twist in the storyline which sees the duo fight over the eventual custody of an unborn child. Speaking about the movie, Jagdeep Sidhu, who has lent his expertise in writing and directing the movie, shares that he is sure the movie will impress moviegoers across all age groups with its smart screenplay and comedic timing. 

Featuring alongside each other on the silver screen after more than a year is one of Punjabi cinema’s favourite on-screen couples Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, who are especially excited to share their latest project with critics and viewers alike. On being asked about his experience while working on Sher Bagga, Ammy Virk said that it was a pleasant experience to work with the entire team on the project and he hopes the audience appreciates all the hard work they have put in. 

Sonam too is all praises for the entire cast and crew involved in the project while sharing that it was a challenging, yet fun experience to portray her character in the upcoming movie. 

If the previous release featuring the two actors is anything to go by, then Sher Bagga is also expected to become one of the biggest grossers at the box office in 2022. 

Music lovers too are in for a treat as the movie features multiple melodies which are bound to tug at the hearts of listeners while adding another dimension to the entire watching experience. Soulful tracks such as “Rab”, which is written and performed by Farmaan and Oye Kunaal, respectively, as well as the explosive track “Raja Jatt” have already found enormous fan followings who are now all set to catch a show of the movie. 

The movie is written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu and produced under the banner of Thind Motion Films Pvt Ltd and Ammy Virk Productions. 

Sher Bagga hit the theatres worldwide on June 24, 2022.
