Previously associated with Gujarat Giants (GG) in the inaugural season, she was later released.
But who is Annabel Sutherland?
Annabel Sutherland is coming off an outstanding Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) season with the Melbourne Stars. The 22-year-old showcased her all-round prowess by claiming 23 wickets and amassing 288 runs. Notably, she bowled 117 dot balls during the tournament.

The young cricketer has already made significant strides at both domestic and international levels. She made her domestic debut for Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL at the age of 15 in 2016, becoming the youngest player to feature in the league. Her impressive domestic performances earned her an international call-up in January 2020.
Sutherland was included in Australia's squads for the 2020 Australia Women's Tri-Nation Series and the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Making her international debut in a Women's T20I against England in the tri-series in February 2020, the 22-year-old has since represented the national side in both ODIs and Tests. She boasts impressive international statistics, including a top score of 109* in Women's ODIs and 137* in Tests.
