Roger Federer holds the record for the most men’s singles titles, having won it 8 times, including 5 consecutive victories from 2003 – 2007. He also holds the record of having played 12 finals on Centre Court. Djokovic is tied with Pete Sampras at 7 wins in Wimbledon. Djokovic, who lost to Alcaraz in the 2023 final, has a tough draw if he does make it to yet another stage, with projected opponents in the third and fourth rounds and quarter-final being Tomas Martin Etcheverry, Holger Rune and Hubert Hurkacz. Should Novak proceed to the semi-final, he is likely to meet Alexander Zverev.
