1. Albie Morkel (CSK) – 125 m vs Deccan Chargers in 2008

Former South African all-rounder Albie Morkel holds the record for hitting the longest six in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Morkel, while playing for CSK in the inaugural IPL season, smashed a 125 m six off Deccan Chargers' spinner Pragyan Ojha at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

2. Praveen Kumar (KXIP) – 124 m vs Mumbai Indians in 2013

One such moment occurred in IPL 2013 when Kings XI Punjab's (now Punjab Kings) Praveen Kumar had a wild swing at the ball, and it travelled 124 m, leaving MI players shocked. In an IPL 2013 match against PWI, Gayle smacked left-arm spinner Ali Murtaza on the roof of the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
