Shubman Gill - the 'prince' of the Indian cricket team has arrived as he has smashed his maiden Test century against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
After departing for just 20 runs in the first innings, Gill made sure to not repeat his mistakes and played a sensible game of cricket to reach his maiden ton.

To celebrate, he removed his helmet, raised his bat, and bowed down to all. His teammates in the dressing room too stood and applauded.
His run riot was, however, stopped by Mehidy Hasan Miraz's bowling and a brilliant catch by substitute Mahmudul Hasan Joy.
Talking about the match, the visitors had scored 404 in the first innings and then got the host nation all out for 150.
In the second innings, India did not impose a follow-on and had already crossed the 200-run mark and had a 460 runs lead.
