Sania Mirza's 'marriage is hard' post on Instagram reignites divorce rumours with husband Shoaib Malik

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has once again reignited divorce rumours with her husband Shoaib Malik with her latest Instagram Story. The Indian tennis star, who married the Pakistani cricketer in 2010, has shared things on social media in recent years that have led fans to believe that everything isn't right between the couple.

This time around, Sania reignited the divorce rumours by posting another cryptic message. Her recent post had one line that got all the attention and it read, "Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard".

Before this, in October 2023, Mirza, who bid farewell to her professional tennis career earlier that year, had posted on her Instagram story a message that fueled speculation of a possible separation from her husband. "If I am communicating, I care. If I am quiet, I'm done," Mirza wrote on her Insta story.

Last year, Shoaib Malik even missed his son Izhaan Mirza Malik's birthday, leading to further speculation about an impending divorce. However, Malik dismissed these rumours, citing work commitments. "When they [Sania and Izhan] went to perform Umrah I had commitments here and when I took a break and went to Dubai to spend time with Izhan, she [Sania] had commitments in IPL," Malik had said on Geo News.

Previously, rumours circulated that Shoaib Malik was involved with Pakistani model Ayesha Omar. Following the bold photoshoot, Malik was questioned on a Pakistani TV channel about Sania's reaction, but he gave evasive answers.

Soon after the photo shoot, there was speculation that Sania discovered Malik's alleged relationship. However, there has been no conclusive evidence, as the couple have chosen to remain silent on the subject.
