Pant, unfortunately, suffered a potentially fatal mishap in December 2022 and is missing cricket for the year 2023.
Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was recently spotted at Mumbai Airport with his entourage and a few supporters. The southpaw appeared to be walking without crutches while wearing a knee brace on his right knee.
The player will be missing the majority of the cricket game in the year 2023 after he met with an accident.
A video of Pant's appearance at the airport was uploaded to Instagram by the Viral Bhayani account.
Pant, unfortunately, suffered a potentially fatal mishap in December 2022. The incident took place when the cricketer was travelling from Delhi to Rourkee.
Three knee ligaments were torn as a result of the incident, necessitating many surgeries for him to fully recover. As a result, the young cricketer has been unable to play professional cricket since December 2022.
During an interaction with IANS in February, Pant shared that he has learned to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.
"It is hard for me to say if everything around me has become more positive or even negative. However, I've gained a fresh perspective on how I view my life now. Something I value today is enjoying my life to the fullest and this includes the smallest of things that we ignore in our daily routine. My biggest realisation and message would be that feeling blessed every day is also a blessing, and that's the mindset I've adopted since my setback being able to enjoy every moment which comes my way is a takeaway I have for myself."
