Where to watch Royal Challengers Bangalore Women vs UP Warriorz on mobile, TV and more and all you need to know about the 2nd match of WPL 2024.
After a nail-biting start to the 2nd edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL), with Bollywood stars performing and Mumbai Indians winning the 1st match, the next two teams - Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and UP Warriorz (UPW) - are all set to face each other at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday (February 24).
The second clash of the WPL 2024 between RCB and UPW will begin at 7:30 PM IST. Fans can watch the game live on the Sports18 Network and stream it on the Jio Cinema app and website.
Both teams did not have the best campaign last season and will be looking to start this Saturday with a win. In the previous WPL 2023 season, RCB and UP Warriorz faced each other twice, with each team winning one game.
RCB, led by Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, had a tough season last year, losing six out of eight games and only managing two wins, finishing fourth in the five-team competition. One of their major concerns was their bowling lineup. However, this year, they have made changes and acquired all-rounders in the auction.
As for UP Warriorz, the Alyssa Healy-led side faces the challenge of selecting the opening combination. While Healy will occupy one slot, the question remains as to who will partner with her - Danielle Wyatt or Chamari Athapaththu. The Englishwoman was acquired during the auction, while the Sri Lankan captain joined as a replacement for Lauren Bell.
