Quinton de Kock walked back for 54 off 43 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, but skipper KL Rahul has been the man controlling the game, scoring 73 off 47, while the CSK bowlers have tried everything to take more wickets.

Earlier in the innings, LSG put CSK to bat first, and the team in yellow suffered the loss of Ajinkya Rahane (36 off 24), Rachin Ravindra (0 off 1), Ruturaj Gaikwad (17 off 13), Shivam Dube (3 off 8), and impact substitute Sameer Rizvi (1 off 5) at regular intervals. However, Ravindra Jadeja's 57 off 40 along with Moeen Ali's 30 off 20 set the pace for CSK.
But it was the onslaught by MS Dhoni who smashed 28 off 9 to take his team's total to 176 for 6. Krunal Pandya took two wickets, while Mohsin Khan, Yash Thakur, Marcus Stoinis, and Ravi Bishnoi each have one to their name.
