The match showcased a Virat Kohli masterclass, with the opening batter scoring 77 runs, while Dinesh Karthik (28 off 10) and Mahipal Lomror (17 off 8) contributed crucial runs towards the end, securing the win by 4 wickets. Seeing RCB winning the game got fans online to celebrate and cheer for their side.
In the clash, despite facing some hiccups along the way, with Faf du Plessis (3), Cameron Green (3), Glenn Maxwell (3), Anuj Rawat (11), and Rajat Patidar (18) all falling at regular intervals, RCB were looking for someone to deliver. Virat Kohli, the opener, kept the momentum going, but in the 16th over, Harshal Patel dismissed the 'King' which had silenced the crowd, briefly giving Punjab hope. However, DK and Lomror ensured RCB's victory with their aggressive batting.
