However, it was his celebration that stole the show as Chhetri picked up the ball from the back of the net and put it inside his jersey to reveal the adorable baby celebration, which was caught on camera.

In a post-match interview, Chhetri joyfully announced, "Me and my wife are expecting a baby, I would like to share this with the whole world."

As for the game, India advanced to the Intercontinental Cup 2023 finals thanks to the veteran striker's pivotal goal. The Blue Tigers made sure to dominate over Vanuatu throughout the game, showcasing their dominance for 80 minutes before Chhetri's heroics secured the three points.
