Indian batter Sanju Samson found the perfect confidence boost and silenced critics in the 3rd and final ODI against South Africa at Boland Park in Paarl, where he clinched his first international hundred. Tilak Varma also played a key role, reaching his half-century before being dismissed for 52 runs.

Entering the crease following Rajat Patidar's dismissal for 22 runs at the hands of Nandre Burger, Samson showcased his skill by constructing a remarkable century on a demanding pitch. His batting was both fluent and comfortable, featuring 6 fours and 2 sixes during the innings.

Achieving a century, especially after India lost three early wickets, and helping the team cross the 200-run mark, earned Samson praise from netizens.

As of the current writing, India lost the wicket of Tilak Varma after his gritty half-century. However, Sanju Samson remains at the crease, joined by Rinku Singh, who has already showcased his batting prowess.

Earlier in the game, the visitors lost both openers, Rajat Patidar and Sai Sudharshan, with Patidar falling to an inswinger, and Sudharshan being trapped LBW for 10 by Beuran Hendricks. Skipper KL Rahul's time at the crease was brief, as he was dismissed for a mere 21 runs.
