Following this, Rohit Sharma began trending on X (formerly known as Twitter) for two distinct reasons. While some fans brushed it off, considering it normal to use strong language among friends and teammates during crunch situations, others condemned it, citing concerns about how such language is the reason behind a toxic culture where women are objectified and feel unsafe.

As of writing this article, 48 overs are done and England have scored 222 runs and lost 7 wickets. They trail by 174 runs. Currently, captain Ben Stokes and Tom Hartley are at the crease.
