India has lost both their openers as Yashasvi Jaiswal could not replicate his first innings double ton and was dismissed for 17 runs by Anderson.
While fans have been criticizing Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer's form in Test cricket, skipper Rohit Sharma has also not managed to contribute much to the scoreboard in the two games between India and England. The captain, at the start of Day 3, was dismissed by James Anderson for 13 runs at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, surely leaving fans unhappy for ruining their Sunday.
The delivery was fuller than a length, slanted in at the stumps, drawing Rohit forward in defence. The ball nipped away slightly to beat the outside edge and crash into the off stump. The off stump was uprooted and Anderson had his arms up in celebration. The English side needed something special to stay in the game.
However, talking about Rohit's performance, it will surely be a concern for the Indian side, as in the first innings, he managed to score just 14 runs off 41 balls. In the first Test as well, he had scores of 24 in the first innings and later 39 in the second.
Fans took to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), saying that the captain wanted to rest on Sunday like everyone else.

Gill and Iyer at the crease as Yashasvi Jaiswal could not replicate his first innings double ton and was dismissed for 17 runs by Anderson. The 41-year-old pacer is showing no signs of slowing down and has surely taken learnings from Jasprit Bumrah, who claimed a six-wicket haul on Day 2, dismissing England for 253 runs.
