In the second T20I clash between India and Afghanistan, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal dazzled the crowd with a spectacular display of powerful strokes. However, the momentum shifted when Karim Janat entered the attack for Afghanistan, leading to Jaiswal's departure at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore after scoring 68 runs.

Facing a good-length delivery on off stumps, Jaiswal attempted to run the ball down to third, but it slightly cut away off the seam, resulting in an edge. Gurbaz made a low but effective catch, concluding an outstanding innings by the young player who scored 68 runs in 34 balls, featuring 5 fours and 6 sixes.

Karim Janat, not content with just one wicket, continued his impact by dismissing the new batter, Jitesh Sharma, for a duck. The short-of-length ball rose unexpectedly, prompting Jitesh to adopt an overly aggressive approach. Unfortunately, he mistimed the shot, hitting it off the splice and straight into the hands of Nabi at mid-off.

Regarding the match, despite losing some wickets, India found themselves in a commanding position with Shivam Dube, who has already reached his half-century, and Rinku Singh at the crease.

The Afghan team was limited to 172 runs, marking their highest score against India in T20Is. Gulbadin Naib, batting at number 3, launched a counter-attack with a powerful innings of 57, featuring 5 fours and 4 sixes, putting Afghanistan in a favourable position.

A late surge from Mujeeb Ur Rahman (21) contributed to the visitors' final score. Axar Patel and Bishnoi played crucial roles by each taking two wickets for India. Arshdeep Singh, who initially went wicketless, turned the tide by securing three wickets in the death overs, concluding with figures of 3/32.
