So what is the ILT20 and what is the format?

The International League T20 (ILT20) is a franchise-based 20-over cricket competition held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament features six teams engaging in a total of 34 matches. The format adopts a double round-robin structure, offering two points for a win and one point for a tie.

Talking about the Playoffs, the first and second-placed teams will vie for direct entry to the final. The team losing this encounter will then face the winner of the eliminator, a match between the third and fourth-placed teams, in a bid to secure a spot in the ultimate showdown.
