F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2024: This is only the second edition ever of the Vegas Grand Prix, which is the third race held in the USA.
Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen is tantalisingly close to a 4th Championship win
Only 3 races remain in the 2024 Formula 1 racing calendar, ending with a triple header that begins in Las Vegas and then heads to Qatar and Abu Dhabi. The first of the lot, the Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix will be held between November 21 and November 23, which, owing to time zone differences will be between November 22 and November 24 in India.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix is conducted as a night race on a temporary street circuit, including parts of the Vegas strip. The 6.201 km circuit is lapped 50 times for the race length of 309.958 km. This is only the second time ever that the Las Vegas Grand Prix is being held. Last year, Max Verstappen won the inaugural edition.

Defending champion Max Verstappen will likely seal his fourth consecutive Drivers’ Championship win at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, making him only the sixth ever, after Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Juan-Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel, to take home the title 4 times. He is currently 62 points ahead of nearest rival Lando Norris, with only 86 points up for grabs for the winner(s) of the last three races of the season.

If Verstappen wins in Vegas, which will be only his 9thof the season, he will have an insurmountable lead over Norris and win the championship. However, if Norris manages to outscore the Dutchman by at least 3 points, the Middle East leg of the season will be the decider.
