Heinrich Klaasen, the dynamic South African batter, achieved his third century in One Day International (ODI) cricket during the 4th ODI encounter against Australia at Centurion's SuperSport Park. His remarkable century came in breathtaking fashion, taking just 57 balls to reach the three-figure milestone, making it his second-fastest century in ODIs.

Klaasen entered the fray when South Africa was at 120/3. He partnered with Rassie van der Dussen (62), and together, they rapidly added 74 runs for the fourth wicket.

Klaasen then orchestrated a scintillating century partnership with David Miller (82), displaying his dominance over the Australian bowlers once he crossed the 50-run mark.

As the carnage came to an end, netizens took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to praise the batter for his exciting performance.

In the bowling department, Josh Hazlewood captured two wickets for Australia, while Marcus Stoinis, Michael Neser, and Nathan Ellis each took one. Spinner Adam Zampa, despite not securing a wicket, conceded 113 runs in his 10 overs.

The South African innings began promisingly with Quinton de Kock (45) and Reeza Hendricks (28). However, Hendricks fell victim to a splendid delivery from Ellis, and de Kock was dismissed by Hazlewood as he attempted a big shot.

When Markram was sent back to the pavilion for just 8 runs, South Africa's score stood at 120/3 in 25.1 overs.

At that point, Australia might have held a slight advantage, but what followed was beyond expectations. South Africa amassed a colossal total of 416 runs, marking it as the highest-ever score recorded at this venue.
