Virat Kohli becomes water boy vs Bangladesh

Virat Kohli is known for keeping fans entertained with his on-field antics. However, when he's not part of the playing XI, he finds ways to bring humour to the game. In the final Super 4 game of the Asia Cup 2023 between India and Bangladesh, Kohli was rested ahead of the big final. So, while enjoying the game from the bench, he took on the role of the team's water boy.

After Anamul Haque's dismissal, Kohli was seen springing into action and onto the field with water for his teammates, and his unique running style had fans in splits.

The match started with Mohammed Shami and Shardul Thakur getting India off to a great start as they secured three early breakthroughs after Rohit Sharma opted to field.

India made substantial changes to their playing XI, choosing to rest key players like Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav.

This strategic decision paved the way for the inclusion of Tilak Varma, who made his ODI debut. Additionally, the team also got Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna, Shardul Thakur, and Suryakumar Yadav in their lineup.

Unfortunately, India's middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer remained sidelined for the third consecutive game. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that while Iyer has shown signs of improvement, he is not yet fully fit to rejoin the team.

On the flip side, Bangladesh introduced Tanzib Shakib, who made his ODI debut, adding an element of excitement to the match.
