NYC Revealed season 2

NYC Revealed Season 2

Story:

Curiosity Stream, in association with Cheddar News, unveils the most unseen network of how the infrastructure, the people, and the workplace function together to keep the city breathing.

Review:

New York is the largest city in America, packed with mind-blowing histories and legacies. NYC Revealed talks about the important historical events of different parts of the city and unveils fun and informative trivia.

The five-episodic series begins with the world-famous Twin Towers that drastically fell during the 9/11 attack in 2001. The show informs not only about how the World Trade Center was demolished but also how it was constructed in the first place. From the idea of creating a one-of-a-kind, or in this case, two-of-a-kind, commercial building to assembling it in a span of five years (1968–1973), the show unveils how these sky-scraping beauties have been the source of food and livelihood for so many people.

The first episode also showcases how painful and heartbreaking it was for the people of America to witness the drastic event. However, NYC Revealed season 2 does not dive deep into the devastation but into how people and the government showed courage and rebuilt it again into One World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, New York City.

Moving on, the second episode is the quirkiest and most fun to watch in the whole series. Among many things, New York is also known for its heavy pigeon population. Even in Bollywood films like the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kal Ho Naa Ho, we have all witnessed several scenes featuring these birds.

However, the show doesn't only focus on the cuteness of pigeons and the bird lovers' affection towards them but also on how a huge chunk of New Yorkers are unhappy with these birds as they have witnessed them littering and polluting a lot of places.

Meanwhile, there are some who love these birds around every corner of the city and find pigeons as a sign of good luck.

Curiosity Stream's idea to create an enjoyable as well as informative show gets supplied perfectly to the audience in NYC Revealed. Apart from the famous World Trade Center and Pigeon Mania, the series talks about the historical and gorgeous Empire State Building as well as the history and importance of ports in the city on the shore of the Hudson River.

It is enlightening and a great watch for all history and art lovers and someone who loves to know interesting facts about different parts of the world.

Verdict:

NYC Revealed might not be a fun watch for all kinds of viewers; however, the unknown trivial facts are surprising and attention-seeking.
