My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission review: Great moments but not up to the mark of the series

My Hero Academia.

Story:

Midoriya aka Deku is introduced to a new villain in Flect Tum, the leader of Humarise. Humarise is introduced as an organization that wants to destroy humans with quirks. Will he succeed or will Deku and the heroes save the day?

Review:

The film takes you back in time to when the quirks were born. We meet a world of destruction. Bakugo, as always, takes the centrestage. Midoriya, on the other hand, is hilarious. As always, he wins hearts with his innocence and determination.

We get on an adventurous ride as the movie progresses. Deku (Midoriya) gets on a ride with Rody. The song comes as a surprise but isn't too much of a disappointment. How the teams with quirks come together to save humanity, is a sight to behold.

The terror continues and you can feel the panic. We see All Might's state of helplessness after he loses his powers. Despite that, he remains a state of hope for young Midoriya.

Todoroki ends up being the coolest kid with two quirks, as always. He comes to save the day almost every single time. With him, at one point, you get confused where the story is heading. However, things become clearer once again. When Bakugo saves the day, it is the moment to be cherished.

Deku faces a more powerful villain than All For One. He is Flect Tum, the leader of Humarise. His goal is to destroy everyone with quirks.

The film ends in the most heroic manner. It is something you expect from the movie. Thus, even though there were some great moments in the film, the ending is not up to the mark.

Verdict:

You fall in love with Deku and Bakugo in My Hero Academia's world. In World Heroes Mission, however, even though they have their moments the complete film package is not up to the mark. Usually with the show, you have something to look forward to. That is not the case with the film. There are some great moments but the feel good factor backfires on the movie. Nonetheless, My Hero Academia fans can go and watch the film for entertainment. Skipping it is not a bad option either since there isn't anything you would be missing out on.
