Far From The Tree is far from a perfect watch but cannot be completely shunned either

Far From The Tree review: This short film from Disney is precise and cute but that's about it

Far From The Tree.

Far from the tree

Story:

A baby raccoon sets out on a journey. He is protected by his mama raccoon but has to face certain challenges on the way.

Review:

A seven-minute film, Far From The Tree is an animated film about animals, mainyl raccoons. The silent film is about the lengths a momma goes for her baby and how the baby always thinks about helping her out.

A seagull comes and destroys a beautiful dream. What happens to the baby raccoon thereafter is interesting.

The baby and mama raccoon have a moment later which is too adorable for words. Like any Disney film, this one also gets a happy ending, which is not so bad.

Verdict:

Even though Far From The Tree is precise and obviously cute, there is not much of a point in telling the story. If you are obsessed with watching animals in their habitat, only then Far From The Tree is something you might like but even then, a lot of the real factor has been replaced by feel-good, so take your call.
