There aren't any fresh conflicts; the twists and turns aren't compelling either
The team of Siddharth Ramaswamy's Fall has unveiled two new episodes today, which kicked off from where last week's episodes were concluded. Divya (Anjali) tries her best to make a comeback in life after coming out of coma. With the help of a few acquaintances, she slowly attempts to regain her lost memory, but ends up confused because of the manipulative behaviour of a few people.
After obtaining a few details from a well-wisher of hers, she starts suspecting her ex-boyfriend Daniel (Santhosh Pratap) and brother Rohit (SP Charan), but she struggles to come to a conclusion owing to the lack of adequate evidence.
This week's episodes aren't quite impressive when compared to the three intriguing episodes released last week. The fourth episode, What Lies Beneath, begins in an interesting manner, but the flow of events isn't organic. The story moves forward at a snail's pace, but is saved by effective performances.
Anjali, Santhosh Pratap, Sastika Rajendran, SP Charan and Namita Krishnamurthy continue to impress with their respective portrayals, which helps the whodunit in parts. The fifth episode, Prey in the Shadows, has Divya taking charge of the "investigation" in a riveting manner.
The romantic track involving Raj Mohan is a distraction to the suspense-filled sequences and appears forced. His depiction of an earnest cop is convincing, though. Thalaivasal Vijay and Poornima Bhagayaraj make their presence felt with sincere performances.
The major grouse associated with this week's episodes is the repetitive nature of sequences. There aren't any fresh conflicts; the twists and turns in the plot aren't too compelling either. This doesn't allow us to emotionally invest much in its principal characters. However, makers have ensured to provide elements that are adequate to keep viewers waiting for the next set of episodes.
