The movie is heartwarming as most Diljit Dosanjh movies.
Story:
Jaggi needs money to fund his business, which is when he comes to know that life insurance pays a huge amount when someone dies. He then strategizes how to get money but there’s a twist.
Review:
Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne has a fun vibe as it starts with a song itself. As you can expect, it is very vibrant and colourful.
The film tries to get funny but succeeds only to an extent. It is more emotional than funny this time around.
Diljit Dosanjh as Jaggi is typical Diljit style. His movie, too, is typical of him - funny yet heartwarming.
Sargun Mehta's entry as Preet is unique and unlike before. She has adopted a new avatar for the film. However, she is her strict and sweet self even now.
The songs are enjoyable if the tunes are very similar to previous hit tracks. They will all make you groove.
Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne is stereotypical but it still works. The movie is an emotional ride and is as heartwarming and feel-good as most Diljit movies.
Verdict:
This Amarjit Singh Sarson directorial is typical but works. The movie is heartwarming and grand but that’s where it ends. It has nothing new to offer.
