Even though Andor episode 5 is not as brilliant as episode 4, this one has its own magical moments.

Andor - Diego Luna.

Star Wars: Andor

Story:

Andor has joined the rebellion but is hiding so many things. Will they be able to gain his trust? Will they move forward like brothers-in-arms? Find out.

Review:

"Surprise as above is never as shocking as one from below." Andor's speciality is about how the rebellion is rooted to the ground but aims for the sky, like many out there. Episode 5 brings the dialogue "Everyone has their own rebellion," to life.

As soon as episode 5 of Andor commences, Kyle Soller brings emotions to Syril Karn. That is what was missing in episode 4 and so, this episode was expected to be about him and in a way, it is.

Stellan has limited space in this epsiode but Diego makes up for him. While his accent doesn't always work in his favour, Diego's body language more than makes up for what is expected ot him.

Genevieve O'Reilly impresses, even if in smaller parts. Since she actually has a larger role, there isn't much to complain about when it comes to her being a part of Andor.

Faye Marsay plays her role in the series well. She is an absolute delight to watch. India-born Varada Sethu is equally impressive in her role as a fierce rebel.

Alex Lawther is an actor par excellence but he has limited role this time. This does not mean that he doesn't nail his performance but does only in the limited screen space.

If episode 4 was the beginning of the rebellion, episode 5 is all about fitting to move further in the cause. Diego sets the pace for his journey as a rebellion and we cannot complain.

Verdict:

Sussana White has managed to build intrigue and at the same time, stay connected with Star Wars fans through her series, Andor. She brings out the beauty of the rebellion with episode 5 and honestly, no complaints.
