While some filmmakers struggle to make a good movie, there are other filmmakers who have made some of the greatest film trilogies of all time. The romantic movies, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and Before Midnight, directed by Richard Linklater, is another critically acclaimed trilogy.
The Spiderman trilogy by Sam Raimi, which saw Tobey Maguire don the mask of the web-slinger, was also welcomed by critics and audiences alike.
