In a career spanning over 30 years, Kajol has established herself as a leading Bollywood actress with six Filmfare Awards to her name. She made her debut at the age of 18 in the 1992 movie Bekhudi. Her performances in the movies Baazigar (1993), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) across Shah Rukh Khan helped her establish herself as a leading actress in the 90s.
Kajol received critical appreciation for her performance in the action thriller movie Gupt: The Hidden Truth which was released in 1997. She was also praised for her role in the psychological thriller Dushman.
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham Fanaa, My Name Is Khan, and Tanhaji are some of her other prominent works. In 2023, she starred in the Tilchatta segment in the Hindi anthology movie Lust Stories 2.
Kajol will be seen in the courtroom drama show The Trial- Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha which releases on July 14th 2023.
