Filmmaker Chad Stahelski introduced the world to a brand new fictional universe populated with dangerous hitmen through his 2014 action film, John Wick. The movie features Keanu Reeves as the titular assassin who goes after the people who killed his dog, which was gifted to him by his deceased wife, and stole his car.
The movie was a sleeper hit that year and spawned multiple sequels with new characters. John Wick movies are known for their well-choreographed action sequences, diverse characters as well as its stunning visuals.
The second John Wick movies came out in 2017, while the third, titled John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum was released in 2019. Both movies were blockbuster hits and received praise from the critics.
The fourth movie of the franchise, John Wick: Chapter 4 was released in 2023, and is widely regarded as the best film of the franchise. The movie will be released on OTT platforms on 23rd June 2023.
