Netflix’s Glass Onion makes $15M on its First Week

Netflix’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, which received a limited theatrical release almost made $15 million in its first week. Over the 5-day Thanksgiving stretch, Glass Onion starring Daniel Craig had a collection estimated at $13.3M and is predicted to be at $15M by Tuesday. The movie will be available for streaming on Netflix from December 23. Last year, Netflix’s Red Notice also did well with a $1.25M-$1.5M in a three-day opening.

With the latest updates with DC Studios over the last months, fans eagerly await news about further developments. The Tamil remake of KGF might star Keerthy Suresh as the lead

The Kannada production house, the makers of KGF announced their debut in the Tamil Film industry and collaboration with director Sudha Kongara a couple of months back. New reports claim that they are planning on casting Keerthy Suresh as the lead for the Tamil remake of the film. But no official announcement has been made regarding the official cast. The film will also cast MS Bhaskar in a pivotal role. Details regarding the rest of the cast and crew will be soon revealed.

Ajay Devgn and Tabu's film Drishyam 2 is about to join the Rs 200 crore club

Theatrical releases have not looked well in Bollywood this year but there’s a last-minute shift with Drishyam 2’s staggering success. The film is going strong for a second weekend and earned almost Rs 39 crore including a collection of Rs 17-17.25 crore just on Sunday. Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu has made a total collection of Rs 141 crore and it has been estimated that they will soon join the Rs 200 crore club.

Several talented actors are teaming up for Director Lijin Jose’s upcoming Malayalam film Her. Veteran actress Urvashi will be joined by Aishwarya Rajesh, Remya Nambeesan, and Parvathy Thiruvothu for the movie. Parvathy Thiruvothu took to her official Instagram to share the news and the first-look poster for the movie. Guru Somasundaram from Minnal Murali and Rajesh Madhavan will also be portraying lead characters in the film. The script is being provided by writer Archana Vasudev.

After the fame of the superhero film Minnal Murali, Tovino Thomas is preparing for his next big-budget film Ajayante Randam Moshanam. In an interview, director Jithin Lal revealed that the actress Krithi Shetty has joined the cast, and the filming is currently underway. Helmed by the debutant director Jithin Lal, the script is penned down by the writer Sujith Nambiar. Dhibu Ninan Thomas is joining as the music composer and the film production is by Zachariah Thomas.

Israeli show 'Fauda' creators Lior Raz & Avi Issacharoff are planning on collaborating with Indian artists

The creators and executive producers of the hit Israeli series Fauda attended the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa last Sunday. On being asked about their future projects as artists, they disclosed their plans on collaborating with various Indian stars, producers and artists. The Indian adaptation of Fauda titled Tanaav is currently streaming on the OTT platform SonyLiv.
