The period romance drama, which is set in 1964, is helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi and has Dulquer playing the character of Lieutenant Ram. The movie, which will release in theatres on August 5, also has Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna as part of the cas,
Touted to be a psychological thriller, Chup will mark Dulquer’s third Bollywood film after Karwaan and Zoya Factor. The movie, which the actor said is an “experimental” film, also has Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt and Shreya Dhanwanthary as part of the cast,
Helmed by The Family Man makers Raj and DK, the Netflix project will mark Dulquer’s webseries debut. Also starring Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav, the series, set in the world of crime in the 90s, blends romance, humour and thrills.
The gangster film, which marks the directorial debut of veteran filmmaker Joshiy’s son Abhilash, revolves around a series of incidents that happen in the fictional town of Kotha. Touted to be a ‘mass’ entertainer, the movie will also have another star essaying a pivotal role. The movie is expected to go on floors by end of August.
Set to be directed by Srinath Rajendran and produced by Dulquer, the spiritual sequel of Kurup will follow the story of Gopi Krishnan’s latest assumed identity Alexander Melmosby. The movie is set to be made on a big budget. While a sequel has been confirmed, it’s yet to be officially announced.
