The movie has Dulquer playing sub inspector Aravind Karunakaran, who takes up a long-standing unsolved case. The upright cop, however, faces unexpected challenges along the way that forces him to choose between family and work.
Manoj K Jayan plays Aravind's elder brother Ajith Karunakaran, who is a revered DySP and a model police officer. The teasers, however, hint that the two have frequent clashes over ideologies.
Dulquer will also be playing another phase of his character. The teasers hint that he has been away from service, probably due to a voluntary retirement or a suspension, and decides reopen the case that had gone cold when he finds a new clue.
While the teasers also show Aravind's cop colleagues expressing their contempt as well as warning him against his obsession with the case, the characters essayed by Deepak Parambol and Abhiram Radhakrishnan seem to be one assisting him in finding the evidence to crack the case open.
