Abhishek was as stylish as ever in a stunning formal suit. The actor wore a black shirt and a pair of spectacles to go with his dashing blue pant suit. According to the source, Abhishek further said, “I’m finally here in Melbourne and I’m absolutely loving it. I’m looking forward to watch Dobaaraa. My almost entire family has represented India here and I’m very proud of it.”,
Tamanna also looked incredible in her lovely green saree, bunning her hair and accessorising with complementary jewellery. Tapsee, on the other hand, wore a highly distinctive dress for the occasion. She wore a multicoloured pant suit that was embellished beautifully all over. She finished off her ensemble with a pink crop top and jewellery of the same colour.
At this Melbourne Indian Film Festival were present the director Shoojit Sircar and actress Vaani Kapoor.
Actress Shefali Shah, singer Sona Mohapatra, TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani, and many more Indian celebrities attended the event.
Kabir Khan also attended the occasion. In his career, the director has delivered some outstanding movies, such as New York, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 83, and others.
Tamanna was asked to weigh in on the controversy between South and Hindi films at one of the sessions, and the actress responded,“I think this conversation is only unique to India, whenever I travel abroad I never hear people distinguish, they simply call it Indian cinema. And such is the case even here at IFFM. I think what the audiences want is to see pan India films and more of such content is being made and being admired by all”.
The performers ascended the stage in front of a select audience to unveil this year's programme lineup, which includes Taapsee's Dobaaraa as the opening night movie. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and backed by Ekta Kapoor, the thriller will be released in India on August 19. Also starring Rahul Bhat and Pavail Gulati, it is the Hindi remake of the 2018 Spanish movie Mirage. Aside from the screening of approximately 120 films, other interesting events planned include Independence Day celebrations, a variety of roundtables, and other expertly selected events.
