Shiva (1990)
Nagarjuna made his debut in Bollywood with the Ram Gopal Verma-directed Shiva in 1990. He played the part of an angry young man who becomes a goon due to his circumstances. The actor is flawless on screen, and his chemistry with Amala is on point.

Khuda Gawah (1992)
The actor is featured in Khuda Gawah along with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. It became a major success with Amitabh and Nagrajuna’s chemistry, and his pairing with a younger version of Sridevi also created much buzz and received love from the audience.

Though the film didn't become a major box office success, but Ram Gopal Verma once again utilised the charisma of Nagarjuna on screen. The actor featured in another Mahesh Bhatt-directed film three years later, Zakhm. A semi-autobiographical film that shares glimpses of Mahesh Bhatt’s life is a story about inter-religious love. It featured Nagarjuna's romantic side, and the fans could not seem to get enough of it.

Nagarjuna appeared on the big screen alongside Akshay Kumar in Angaarey. Mahesh Bhatt was inspired by the American film, The State of Greece to make this film. This action-thriller also stars Gulshan Grover, Pooja Bhatt, and Sonali Bendre in the lead roles.
