Love Island

Throw together a group of people on an island, cut off from the rest of the world, and chaos is sure to follow. This is the premise that has made Love Island such a popular reality show. The series sees a group of people who are brought together on an island, where they must form pairings with the other islanders to survive. In a step away from most dating shows, the rules do not specify that the ‘couples’ formed should be involved in a romantic relationship together. Through the course of their time on the island, the pairs are offered to choose other people for their partners as well, and the ones who remain single at the end are forced to leave the island. Viewers are also given a chance to vote for the contestants of their choice, and the ones with the lowest votes are eliminated.
