Lock Upp: Who is evicted contestant Chakrapani? Controversies, what he did on the show
Kangana Ranaut's views on Chakrapani changed after his stint in Ekta Kapoor's Lock Upp.
What was Chakrapani’s controversy that got him into Lock Upp?
Chakrapani was evicted from Lock Upp recently. Initially called Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, he was convicted of partying with gau mutra (cow urine). Host Kangana Ranaut had even called him out for cutting a cowdung like a cake.

Did Chakrapani manage to change his image after going in Lock Upp?
Chakrapani did absolutely nothing to contribute to the show. Often times, other contestants were seen fighting for him while he simply took the backseat.

What did Chakrapani want?
Chakrapani refused to eat food in Payal Rohatgi’s plate stating he needs a fresh plate and only vegetarian food. In fact, he refused food altogether at one given point of time for cow milk. Thus, when Lock Upp makers did not send cow milk for Chakrapani, all other contestants spoke up for him.

Chakrapani did not leave an impression on many. Most contestants stayed clear of him, which they assumed is what he wanted too, given his quietly sitting-in-a-corner attitude.

Chakrapani judged Saisha Shinde.
Earlier on the show, it could be seen that Chakrapani was judging fashion designer Saisha Shinde, who makes headlines for her decision to change genders. From the stage itself, Chakrapani maintained that people should be in their natural form. Saisha was seen trying to explain Chakrapani that sometimes it could be natural that people feel their identity is different and they want to be their real selves. The two simply ended the topic amicably later on.

Karanvir Bohra stood up for Chakrapani.
One person who showed Chakrapani utmost respect on the show was Karanvir Bohra. He fought for Chakrapani to get cow milk and was often seen trying to bond with him. He addressed him as ‘Swami ji’ with hands folded, which could be considered a heartwarming gesture.

Other inmates simply happened to mention Chakrapani.
Shivam Sharma was once heard talking about his teammates. At that point, he tagged Chakrapani in one category too. “Ek ko dekho toh sirf Ram Ram karte rehta hai,” he had said, hinting at Chakrapani. On the other hand, Munawar Faruqui told the contestants his side of the story behind his arrest. At that time, the inmates did not realize that Chakrapani was representing a certain section (Hindus) and ended up talking about the people behind the incident (Hindu extremists).
