Challenging Star Darshan's film Kranti has locked its date with audiences. It will release on January 26, Republic Day, in a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan.
Challenging Star Darshan's much-awaited film, Kranti, will release in theatres on January 26.
Earlier this week, the team of the film, led by producers Shylaja Nag and B Suresha, director V Harikrishna and actors Darshan and Rachita Ram, addressed the media about the film's impending release.
The film's theatrical outing will be a show of Darshan's star power, given that he is looking at promoting the film without the support of mainstream media.
Kranti is Rachita's third film with Darshan. She had made her filmi debut opposite him with Bulbul and followed that up with Ambareesha.
Although this is only Harikrishna's second directorial ever, he has a long-standing personal and professional relationship with Darshan.
Speaking at the event, Darshan clarified that Kranti is a Kannada film, which will be dubbed and released in other languages. However, he will not travel outside of Karnataka to promote it, he ascertained. Mera kutta mera galli mein sher hain, he said.
Rachita is mighty chuffed about collaborating with Darshan yet again.
Kranti, according to reports, is a film about the education system.
