1. Ice Age (2002)
A grumpy woolly mammoth named Manny finds himself unwillingly saddled with a goofy ground sloth named Sid. A third member is added to their strange ‘herd’ when they have to take care of a human child, who becomes lost after his village is attacked by sabre-toothed tigers. As the duo tries to return the child to his people, they are stalked by Diego, a tiger who is charged with returning the child to his pack.

2. Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006)
Manny, Sid, and Diego are forced to migrate to safety when they hear that an impending flood will hit their land in just three days. As the trio makes their way to a large boat as time runs out, they run into another woolly mammoth named Ellie, who believes she is an opossum as well, after being raised in a family of opossums. When she and her brothers join the three, Manny finds himself falling in love.

3. Ice Age: Dawn of Dinosaurs (2009)
Manny dons the role of an anxious to-be father in the film, as he scrambles to make sure things are perfect when the baby arrives, much to the annoyance of a pregnant Ellie. His plans get derailed when the group is forced to embark upon their craziest adventure when Sid is kidnapped by a mother dinosaur and the eccentric herd must go into a hidden underground world inhabited by the prehistoric beasts. There, they meet Buck, a one-eyed weasel, who lends his expertise to locate and rescue Sid.

4. Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012)
Manny and Ellie are faced with their most challenging adventure yet - raising their defiant teenage daughter, Peaches. To add to their troubles is the fact that Sid’s family has returned, and they come bearing a troublesome, unwanted gift. In addition to their personal problems, the herd finds themselves in the midst of another continental breakup, which separates them, and they have to move on to safer land before it is too late.

5. Ice Age: Collision Course (2016)
Scrat does it again, this time causing an asteroid strike on Earth that our heroes barely escape, and they put their heads together on how they can safely escape the next one, aided by their returning friend, Buck. Their own personal problems also take centre stage, as Manny tries to deal with his daughter’s upcoming wedding and Diego starts thinking about having a family of his own.

6. The Ice Age Adventure of Buck Wild (2022)
This spin-off film takes the focus away from our usual strange herd and Buck takes centre stage, joined by Ellie’s opossum brothers, Crash and Eddie. When the opossums’ antics cause an accident, Manny declares them unfit to make it on their own in the world. Determined to prove him wrong, the brothers set off on an adventure, which gets them trapped in the underground dinosaur world. Buck comes to their rescue, and the trio tries to make it out without getting themselves swallowed by dinosaurs.
