SultanIn Sultan, Anushka Sharma portrayed the part of Aarfa. The creators had wanted to cast Deepika Padukone opposite Salman Khan, but the actress declined the offer and hence, Anushka was cast.
Gangubai KathiawadiDeepika Padukone was reportedly offered to play a prominent role in the recent Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, but she declined because she did not want to share the screen with Alia Bhatt.
