Akshay Kumar’s 2022 kitty
Akshay Kumar, whose first 2022 release came in the form of Bachchhan Paandey, has a tight schedule this year. The star is currently keeping busy filming for Oh My God 2, Selfiee and the Soorarai Pottru remake, and had recently wrapped up filming Ram Setu. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the star is planning to wrap up filming on Selfiee and the Soorarai Pottru remake by the end of June.

In the second half of 2022, Akshay Kumar will work on Gorkha and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, in addition to doing patchwork shoots of his other projects. The star will be making his web series debut with The End, which is in the pre-production stage at the moment, and will start working on it after July as well.

Akshay Kumar’s unannounced projects
In addition to the projects mentioned, Akshay Kumar is reportedly in talks with several directors and producers for more projects. The projects will span different genres such as action and comedy. A source told Pinkvilla that the star is in talks with Kumar Mangat for a thriller to be directed by Vignesh Shetty. Kumar is also considering a comedy film from the Bhagnanis, directed by Mudassar Aziz. Additionally, Ekta Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar too have made offers to the star as well.

Karan Johar too has reportedly offered Akshay Kumar a film as well. The film is set against the background of the Jallianwala Baug massacre, and Kumar was offered the role of justice Sankaran. The star is yet to take a decision on the project.
