Kriti Sanon won best actress award for Mimi while Vicky Kaushal took back best actor for Udham Singh.
Sidharth Malhotra’s direct-to-OTT film Shershaah has won big at the IIFA 2022. The movie, which made waves when it released in 2021, has once again become the topic of discussion after it won as many as six awards. Here’s the full list of winners…,
Shershaah won best picture award. Apart from that, Vishnu Vardhan bagged best director and Sandeep Shrivastava best screenplay. The film also won huge in the music department. Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur won best playback singer male and female for Raataan Lambiyan. Tanishk Bagchi, Jasleen Royal, Javed-Mohsin, Vikram Montrose, B Praak and Jaani co-won the award with the iconic AR Rahman.
Kriti Sanon and Sai Tamhankar took home best actress and best supporting actress respectively for their film Mimi.
Anurag Basu took home the award for best story original for Ludo. Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi deservingly won the award for best actor in a supporting role in the movie.
83 won the award for best adapted story. Apart from that, Kausar Munir won the award for best lyrics for 83 song Lehra Do.
Vicky Kaushal, who became the talk of the town after playing Udham Singh, has also taken back the best actor award for the film.
Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty made his debut with RX100’s remake named Tadap. He took the award for best debut male at IIFA.
Sharvari Wagh made her debut with Bunty Aur Babli 2. She has now received an award for her performance in the sequel to Saif Ali Khan-Rani Mukerji’s film.
Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan’s Atrangi Re also won an award. AR Rahman won the award for best music for the film but he was tied with Shershaah.
