Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 sets a record, beats Dhaakad at the Box Office
Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad, despite being Bollywood’s venture into a woman action star, has not been able to connect with the audiences. The movie has been suffering at the Box Office while its competitor Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is breaking records. With Rs. 14 crores on its opening day, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the second highest grossing post-pandemic film after Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. The budget for both Dhaakad and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 were also at par but Kangana charged almost as much as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opening day.

How much did Kangana get paid for Dhaakad?
According to Releasing Now, Kangana was paid Rs. 10 crores for Dhaakad. That is just Rs. 4 crores lesser than Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s opening day Box Office collection.

Arjun is the male lead in Dhaakad. He was paid Rs. 3 crores for his role. However, since he had a lesser screen space as compared to Kangana, they were paid almost equally.
