Zebra Telugu film

On November 22, 2024, four Telugu films are set to hit the screens. Among them is Zebra, featuring Satyadev and Kannada actor Dhananjaya in lead roles. The film is a heist thriller, and its trailer was launched by Megastar Chiranjeevi. Promotions for the film are in full swing, with the team currently in Bangalore for its Kannada-language campaign.

Zebra's OTT platform details revealed

As previously reported by OTTplay, Aha has acquired the digital rights to Zebra for a significant price, placing the makers in a profitable position even before the theatrical release. According to the latest update, Aha has spent a whopping ₹5 crore on the film’s digital rights, marking the highest amount ever paid for a Satyadev-starrer to date.

Satyadev has gained popularity through a string of successful films and shows on OTT platforms, establishing a strong digital market for his work. This solid OTT appeal is one of the reasons why Aha decided to invest such a significant amount.

Zebra's backdrop and star cast

Zebra tells the story of a bank employee, played by Satyadev, who becomes entangled in a heist, leading to a series of complications. Satyaraj and Dhananjaya play key supporting roles in the film, which is directed by Eashvar Karthic. When launching the trailer, Megastar Chiranjeevi praised Satyadev as a talented actor who hasn’t been fully utilized in Telugu cinema.

However, Satyadev has been going through a rough patch, as his recent films have failed to perform well at the box office. The actor expressed confidence that Zebra will mark his comeback and promised to entertain his fans with more projects in the future.

Thanks to Aha’s deal, the makers are already in a secure financial position, with Zebra set to release with table profits. The theatrical rights were sold at a nominal rate, and if the film garners positive word-of-mouth, the makers could see massive profits.
