Zack Snyder confirms Army Of The Dead sequel but on THIS condition

Zack Snyder’s Army Of The Dead began streaming on Netflix recently and it has been lauded by many. The filmmaker is already planning a sequel to the film, but has a condition on the same.

While talking to NDTV, Zack said that he has an ‘insane idea’ for Army Of The Dead 2. The director further stated that he would direct the film ‘in a second’ but on the condition that Netflix would release it.The streaming giant has not yet made an announcement regarding the sequel of the zombie thriller.

“I'd make it in a second. What we have planned is too crazy. Once we knew Vanderohe was bit, and he's going to Mexico City, I was like, ‘You know what's gonna happen?' And then I just went on a tear. And by the time it ended, Shay (Army Of The Dead co-writer) was like, ‘OK,” shared Zack.

The sequel could also explore a time loop theory. The original film hinted towards the same through Vanderohe (Omari Hardwick).

Army Of The Dead, which marked Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi’s Hollywood debut, released on Netflix on May 21. The actress became popular on Netflix after her web series Leila’s release on the platform. She played the role of a mother named Geeta in the movie. Her daughter, Kate, was played by Ella Purnell.

Before Army of The Dead, Zack made headlines for the Snyder Cut of Justice League. The movie was released on HBO and YouTube earlier this year.
