Yuvan Shankar Raja roped in as the composer for Pradeep's AGS22

The film marks Pradeep's sophomore project after Jayam Ravi-starrer Comali

Pradeep Ranganathan shot to fame with his debut film Comali (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) which went on to become one of the biggest Tamil hits of 2019. The movie had Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal and Samyukta Hegde playing lead roles in it. It was announced a while ago that he is all set to begin his second project.

However, this time, he himself is playing the lead in the untitled movie, which is being produced by AGS Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The production house has now announced that Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the movie.

They also posted a picture of Pradeep and Yuvan posing together for a photo. An excited Pradeep took to social media to express happiness for teaming up with the popular musician. He wrote that he had least expected to join hands with the music director of Paiyaa which he enjoyed listening to during his school days.

He tweeted, "Did I even imagine I would work with the legend @thisisysr when I was hearing Paiyaa songs on repeat during my school days . Anything can happen in life (sic)." Interestingly, Pradeep was seen wearing a black round neck t shirt on which it was written 'Yuvan songs are equal to drugs'.

He had posted another tweet singing praise on Yuvan, which read, "All my real life love stories started and ended with YUVAN songs. Now this movie will go through the same."

Yuvan, too, replied from his Twitter handle that he is happy to collaborate with Pradeep and AGS production team. He posted, "So happy for this,and happy to be a part of this wonderful project produced by @agscinemas @archanakalpathi @aishkalpathi and directed by @pradeeponelife looking forward (sic)."
