Yudhra Box Office collection day 2: Siddhant Chaturvedi's Yudhra had the first weekend advantage, but did not work despite it, thus being a disaster
Siddhant Chaturvedi in Yudhra.
Yudhra Box Office collection day 2: Siddhant Chaturvedi's Yudhra, which looked promising on day 1, has now seen a big downward trend. The film has earned much less than even half of the opening day collections. This is despite the movie having a weekend advantage. While most films see an upward trend over the weekend, it was the opposite case for Yudhra. This, in turn, could prove that the movie is a disaster at the Box Office. Here's what Yudhra's Box Office collections look like currently...
Yudhra minted Rs. 1.50 crores at the Box Office on day 2, according to Sacnilk. This means the film saw nearly 60% drop from day 1. Given how the drop came on a weekend (first Saturday, which is when most hit films start earning in higher numbers), Yudhra might have no scope of picking up and is now a disaster at the Box Office.
Yudhra got its major advantage on day 1, which was National Cinema Day. Since the ticket prices were at Rs. 99 and Yudhra was the latest offering, many people went to watch the film. Thus, the opening Box Office collections for the movie were Rs. 4.5 crores net.
While there were comparisons with Munjya owing to the slow Box Office opening, Yudhra is not performing like the horror-comedy film from Maddock Supernatural Universe at all. Munjya had minted Rs. 7.25 crores on day 2, thus showing the upward trend much like most films on their first weekend. The movie had managed to earn Rs. 127 crores in its lifetime. Yudhra, made on a budget of Rs. 50 crores, might not reach the goal given its current situation at the Box Office.
Despite it being over a month since its release, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 is the one that earned more than Yudhra on a Saturday. On its sixth Saturday, Stree 2 minted Rs. 3.4 crores. The Box Office collections for Tumbbad on day 9 is yet to be updated.
