Netflix has been dropping all of the Geeked Week shows one by one. Whether it's Hollywood, Bollywood, Chinese, Korean or now Japanese, you can get to watch all of your much awaited dramas, series and movies on the giant OTT platform.

2024 is going to be a blockbuster year for you all. From Stranger Things Season 5, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Arcane Season 2, Millie Bobby Brown's Damsel, John Bradley's 3 Body Problem, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, At The Moment, to Godzilla, all the dates and times are already dropped by Netflix.

Today Netflix has finally dropped the Japanese manga series Yu Yu Hakusho's trailer, and fans can't get over it. Not only do we get to watch the live-action's trailer, but we also get the release date, which is December 14, 2023.

If you are a die-hard anime fan, then Yu Yu Hakusho will surely excite you from head to toe. As it's known to all, Yu Yu Hakusho is the all-time favourite anime that debuted 20 years ago on Cartoon Network. Now, Netflix is bringing you a live-action feature film on the manga series.

Yu Yu Hakusho story

Yu Yu Hakusho is illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series tells the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child's life. After a number of tests presented to him by Koenma, the son of the ruler of the afterlife Underworld, Yusuke is revived and appointed the title of Underworld Detective. With this title he must investigate various cases involving demons and apparitions in the Human World, with the manga gradually becoming more focused on martial arts battles and tournaments as it progresses. Togashi began creating Yu Yu Hakusho around November 1990, basing the series on his interests in the occult and horror films and an influence of Buddhist mythology.

Takumi Kitamura as Yusuke Urameshi, Shuhei Uesugi as Kazuma Kuwabara, Jun Shison as Kurama, Kanata Hongō as Hiei, Shuhei Uesugi, Sei Shiraishi, Kotone Furukawa, Ai Mikami, Hiroya Shimizu, Keita Machida, Meiko Kaji, Kenichi Takito, Goro Inagaki, Go Ayano.
